Spitale’s Deli has relocated to 3309 Division St. (formerly Bottom Line Bar & Grill) across from Applebee’s. The local sandwich, hot plate and catering joint has some of the best ranch dressing anywhere. Construction appears to be well underway at Sharetea. This will be the international tea shop’s first location in Louisiana. According to their website the chain first opened in Taiwan and now has locations worldwide. Tea leaves and other select ingredients are shipped directly from Taiwan.
Sharetea will be taking over the former space of Metairie instituion Morning Call at 3325 Severn Ave.
The O’Henry’s Food & Spirits at 8859 Veterans Memorial Blvd in Metairie which closed nearly two years ago will soon be home to a McAlister’s Deli location. This will be McAlister’s third location in East Jefferson.
A partnership between the Metairie Road Business Association and Jefferson Parish has brought festive Christmas lights back to Metairie Road after an absence over the past two years. The lights were officially lit yesterday evening. Other Metairie Road Christmas features planned for this year include Louisiana’s largest living Christmas tree.
