Payless ShoeSource confirmed Friday that the company would begin closing all company-owned US stores. The retailer operates 2 stores on Veterans Blvd. and another in Elmwood. All 3 stores are expected to close as a part of this proceeding. Liquidation sales are reported to start as early this tomorrow. At one time the company also operated stores at the Esplanade Mall and across from Clearview Mall.
